Testimonials
Dear Russ,
...I want to thank you for the guidance you provided me over these past twelve months. I believe that you were brought into our organiztion under difficult circumstances and during this time you have certainly helped me as an individual. I would like to have heard more of your opinions but realize that this is not your role. Your style in getting me to answer many of these questions for myself and the ability for me to understand myself better has helped me develop professionally...
Scott Pennington, Vice President for Operations, Skylawn Corporation
Russ,
I wanted to express my appreciation to you and the Lead Coach organization for the significant help you have given to me personally and also to the Regional Developers that I support.
Frequently, in my regular meetings with the RDs, I hear references to their Lead Coaches and how they have helped the RDs to assist their Consultants work through difficult issues. Without exception, each of your Coaches are top professionals who not only give assistance but also model the coaching skills we are all learning.
Also, many RDs have commented on how they have a better understanding of the distinctions of training, consulting and coaching and when to appropriately use each of these.
Personally, the time I have had with my Coach has taken me to a new level of understanding of distinctions in coaching and has assisted me in my work with the Regional Developers. I have also gained insights into self-coaching and my ability to use it in all aspects of my life.
Thank you for putting together such a helpful and practical program.
Paul Pieschel, VP Franchise Development, The Entrepreneur's Source
Dear Russ:
It will soon be a year since you came into our lives and what a difference! The Entrepreneur's Source is a better organization due to your wisdom and comprehensive coaching training program. Our Regional Developers have greatly improved their coaching relationship with their Consultants as a result of this training program and the coaching they are receiving from the LeadCoach Coaches.
Personally, I have made shifts and changes that I did not think possible for me. Your coaching has helped me grow in ways that I never had anticipated. Your tough, relentless but always caring approach to coaching me has been the perfect tactic for encouraging and allowing me to accomplish the goals I have set for myself and for looking into areas that, left to my own devices, I most likely would have overlooked.
Thank you!
Lizette Pirtle, Vice president, Training and Support, The Entrepreneur’s Source
"I am a social capitalist.
I believe that my success is determined not only by my human capital (what I know and can do) but, also, by my reputation (who trusts me) and my social capital (who knows me).
Seeking and managing productive relationships help others and myself get things done. Dr. Russ Volckmann coaches leaders on the importance of building their social capital by seeking and nurturing interactive relationships that pull people toward becoming comfortable with the language of personal responsibility and commitment. Dr. Volckmann's wisdom that leadership is all about productive relationships is an important source of support for people, like me, who wish to really understand this thing called leadership."

"As my coach, Russ was instrumental in my fully embodying the concept of unconditional abundance. Before, I could see it in action when the times were good. Now, I live my life, knowing all of the important things are universally abundant. This has enabled me to fully embrace this, practice this and trust this."

"Thank you, My Friend,
You have taught me so many things.
- Breathe!
- Don't take it personally! (Almost nothing is about me.)
- Everything is perfect in its moment. Rain is good for crops, bad for picnics.
- Riding my "Life wheel" is like riding my bike. If the tires aren't balanced, I will wobble and could fall over. For instance, if I rate myself with a 10 on physical environment, a 9 on career and friends, a 6 on fun and recreation, a 5 on health on personal growth, a 3 on money, and a 2 on significant other, my own life wheel will wobble!"

"Who I am on the inside has grown closer to who I am on the outside. I made several choices this year that were not the popular choice, but were the right choice nonetheless.
I've learned to stand for myself without apology. I'm beginning to understand who that self is, and to like the reflection that greets me when I look in the mirror, and when I look at my life.
Thank you for supporting me in discovering who I am. You helped me find my voice this year, helped me find my dreams, and helped me realize that the only way to achieve them is to follow my heart, and not only follow in the footsteps of those who have gone before me.
Thank you for helping me see the game in a different light. Thank you for helping me see the difference between living in sync with who I am and living at odds with my self in order to please the image I think the world has of me. Thank you for your confidence in me, and your continued support. Thank you for helping me remember how far I've come. Thank you for seeing who I really am and appreciating that, even when you don't understand it. Thank you for your enthusiasm and support of the things I do. Thank you for helping me see that strength and power belong to the feminine as much as to the masculine. Thank you for your honesty.and for your trust."
